• Faulty electrical connections;
- check the connection of the power supply - is voltage (230V/50Hz);
- as soon as the required mains voltage is attached, the „POWER“ LED lights up.
• The pump housing is not  lled with water.
- the safety system has been triggered and the LED „POWER“ lights up, the LED“ERROR“ lights
up.
- Fill pump housing with water and then restart (RESET button press).
• The pump is blocked.
- the LED „POWER“ as well as the LED „ERROR“ light up, the safety system has been triggered. By
pressing the „RESET - Button“ lights the „ON“ LED, but the pump does not start. In this case,
contact technical support.
• Air inlet at the pump;
- pressure is signi cantly lower than the nominal pressure or there are constant  uctuations. The
safety system stops the operation of the pump and triggers an error message;
- The LED „POWER“ and the LED „ERROR“ light up.
- Check the sealing of the connectors and the seals of the intake shaft.
• Pump is constantly running:
- possible leakage in the piping system;
- check all sampling points for leaks – especially hoses and mobile sampling points (e.B. garden
syringe, etc.).
9 INITIAL COMMISSIONING OF THE
CONEL FLOW RAIN-CHAMPION
9.1 SECURITY
Risk:
• All commissioning activities may only be carried out by professional and
knowledgeable personnel who have been suf ciently informed by studying the
operating instructions in-depth;
• Do NOT wear your personal protective gear and do NOT work with wet hands
or wet feet or stand in the water – avoid a fatal electric shock.
• Before starting work of any kind, please ensure that the power supply has been
interrupted (e.g. pull the power plug) and secure it again against unauthorized or
unintentional re-engagement;
• As soon as the Conel Flow Rain-Champion is put into operation, no persons
oranimalsmaybeintheconveyingmedium(storage)–dangertolifedueto
electric shock;
• Ensure that the Conel Flow Rain-Champion cannot be put into operation wit-
hout authorisation or unintentionally during commissioning;
• Make sure that the electrical connectors are in the  ood-proof area or are
protected from moisture.
• Refer to unauthorized persons (especially children, adolescents) or animals from
the  eld of work and activity.
Attention:
• The temperature of the conveying  uid shall not exceed the maximum tempera-
ture speci ed in the technical data;
• The Conel Flow Rain-Champion must not be operated in impure water under
any circumstances.
