Inspection activities Fatal electric shock possible:
All inspection activities may only be carried out by specialist and
competent personnel who have been adequately informed by carefully
studying the operating instructions;
Before starting work, disconnect the Conel Flow Rain-Champion from
the power supply and secure it against unauthorized or unintentional
restart;
Before starting work, release any existing pipe pressure and, if neces-
sary, drain off the liquid (water). This also applies to inspections of the
entire system in which the Conel Flow Rain-Champion is integrated.
The operating regulations for pressure vessels are contained in the
Ordinance on Industrial Safety and Health (BetrSichV). Note the inspec-
tion intervals for the recurring inspections of pressure vessels by the
operator of the system.
Cleaning activities Material damage to the Conel Flow Rain-Champion possible:
If the Conel Flow Rain-Champion is not operated for a longer period of
time, we recommend blocking the drinking water line with a ball valve.
2.3.6 Decommissioning, storage, dismantling, disposal
ATTENTION:
All activities on the Conel Flow Rain-Champion may only be carried out by
skilled and knowledgeable personnel who have been adequately informed by
carefully studying the operating instructions.
DANGER:
Fatal electric shock
Before starting dismantling, the power supply must be disconnected and
secured against unauthorized or unintentional restart.
Disconnection from
the power supply and
power dissipation

Disconnect the Conel Flow Rain-Champion from the electrical power
supply - Pull protective contact plugs and secure it against unauthorized
or unintentional re-engagement.
Dismantling
Shock and crushing injuries.
Always wear your personal protective equipment and be careful when
dismantling;
Disconnect the Conel Flow Rain-Champion electrically;
Before dismantling the Conel Flow Rain-Champion, drain the pressure
in the piping system and drain liquid;
Disconnect the connections of the drinking water supply, the pressure/
suction line;
Empty Conel Flow Rain-Champion as much as possible;
Loosen the wall mount and lift the Conel Flow Rain-Champion out of the
wall mount;
The Conel Flow Rain-Champion has a type-speci c weight, use lifting
and carrying aids.
