2.4 RESIDUAL HAZARDS AND PROTECTIVE MEASURES
Risks Cause Description of the
hazard / person at risk
Protective measures/
protection objective
Deadly electric shock Voltage-carrying parts
due to fault condition
Deadly electric shock,
voltage above 50 V AC
is attached to voltage-
carrying parts, e.B. in
the event of an internal
insulation fault of a
component /
total staff
Preventing touching
voltage-carrying parts
No hazardous stresses
on housings of compo-
nents, due to protecti-
ve grounding (potential
compensation)
Grounding of the
terminal box
Installation of a main
switch (for terminal bo-
xes) with the possibility
of securing by padlock.
Covering voltage-car-
rying parts
Attaching a warning
sign: Warning of dange-
rous electrical voltage
Basically:
Comply with ve safety
rules (DIN VDE 0105-
1 / DIN EN 50110-1) /
Avoidance of fatal
electric shock
Fire Cable re Due to improper sizing
of the electrical line
Electrical cables must
be measured for
maximum electrical
power against the
mains voltage and their
tolerances and must
be clearly identied by
coloured marking. ((EN
