8.9 OPERATING MODES OF THE CONEL FLOW RAIN-CHAMPION
The Conel Flow Rain-Champion is a compact ready-to-connect rainwater system controller for water
supply with rain water from the Speicher or needs just with drinking water from the in-house drinking
water network. This ensures that the connected consumers are always supplied with water.
The Conel Flow Rain-Champion operates in two operating modes (manual / automatic) to ensure the ab-
ove-mentioned water supply and can be selected by the operating mode switch mounted in the control
unit (see  gure 8.9.1).
Operating mode Manual (drinking water operation):
- Rocker switch is set to „Man.
- The yellow LED „Man.“ and „Drinking water light“.
- No rainwater is removed from the reservoir. The water supply of consumers is supplied exclusi-
vely from the drinking water network.
Operating mode Automatic (rainwater use with necessary appropriate switching to drinking water
supply):
- Rocker switch is set to „Auto“ position
- The yellow „Auto.“ LED lights up.
- Rainwater from the reservoir is mainly used to supply customers.
- As soon as the  oat switch in the memory falls below the minimum level, the Conel Flow Rain-
Champion automatically switches to drinking water supply.
- As soon as the minimum level in the storage is exceeded(suf cient rainwater in the storage)the
Conel Flow Rain-Champion automatically switches from drinking water to rainwater supply.
8.10 CALIBRATION OF THE LEVEL PROBE
There is a potentiometer (calibration) on the control element of the device, on which the maximum  ll
level of the collecting container must be set using a small slotted screwdriver, see Figure 9.2.1.1. Adjust-
ments are made in 10 cm steps, which are visually displayed
and acoustically highlighted.
Turn the potentiometer by approx. 45 ° (calibration mode is
activated).
Set the potentiometer so that the previously measured
maximum water depth of the collecting container is shown
in the level indicator.
- Turning clockwise increases the value.
- Turning it counterclockwise decreases the value.
Display:
- Meter = continuous lighting of the corresponding LED.
- Decimeter =  ashing of the corresponding LED.
Example:
Maximum water depth in the collecting container 1.70 meters.
Level indicator = 10% LED permanently lit and 70% LED
ashing.
Press the ”Reset” button once.
- The set value is thus saved.
- The current  lling level of the collecting container is
given in%.
