10.4 DECOMMISSIONING / DISASSEMBLY
10.4.1 Decommissioning
DANGER: Danger to life:
All decommissioning activities may only be carried out by professional and
knowledgeable personnel who have been suf ciently informed by studying the
operating instructions in-depth;
Wear your personal protective equipment and DO NOT work with wet hands or
wet feet or stand in the water – avoid a fatal electric shock;
Consider this as well as the Conel Flow Rain-Champion as well as the pressure
lines are  lled with the conveying medium and are under pressure;
Note:
Always close shut-off devices (sliders, removal stilts, etc.) slowly – avoidance of
pressure shocks, damage to the pump and the entire system possible;
Switch off/disconnect electrical power supply (pull protective contact plug) and secure it again
against unauthorized or unintentional re-switch-on;
Close the ball valve of the drinking water pipe;
close the shut-off device of the pressure line (if any);
10.4.2 Dismantling
Attention:
All dismantling activities may only be carried out by professional and knowledge-
able personnel, who have been suf ciently informed by studying the operating
instructions in-depth.
Wear your personal protective equipment and DO NOT work with wet hands or
wet feet or stand in the water – avoid a fatal electric shock;
Keep this in mind, as well as the Conel Flow Rain-Champion as well as the pres-
sure lines are  lled with the conveying medium and are under pressure – drain in
gessing pressure and emptying Conel Flow Rain-Champion reduces the overall
weight;
DANGER: Deadly electric shock
Before dismantling begins, the power supply must be disconnected and secured
against unauthorized or unintentional re-entry.
Switch off/disconnect electrical power supply (pull protective contact plug) and secure it against
unauthorized or unintentional power switching on;
Disconnect the supply line from the switching box to the pump switcher;
Remove the plug from the zone valve;
If necessary, disconnect the plug of the level sensor;
If necessary, completely dismantle the switch box from the wall:
Close the ball valve of the drinking water pipe;
Drain the water pressure in the drinking water pipe;
Disconnect drinking water supply from The Conel Flow Rain-Champion;
Close the shut-off valve of the pressure line;
Drain the water pressure in the pressure line;
Disconnect the pressure line at the pump switcher;
Disconnect the connection of the suction line;
Disconnect the connection of the emergency over ow
