8.3 CONNECTION OF THE DRINKING WATER PIPE
NOTE:
All activities may only be carried out by professional and knowledgeable person-
nel who have been sufciently informed by studying the operating instructions
in-depth;
This personnel must have read and understood this operating manual;
NOTE:
The oat valve is designed for a maximum pressure of 4.0 bar. From 4.0 bar
pressure in the drinking water inlet, a corresponding pressure reducer must be
installed. Higher line pressure in the drinking water inlet can lead to damage to the
Conel Flow Rain-Champion;
In order to prevent safe protection against contamination of the oat valve and the
resulting defect, we recommend the use of an upstream drinking water lter with a
mesh size/lter neness of 110 micrometers (0.11mm);
If the hardness of the drinking water exceeds 20, a corresponding descaling system
must be installed;
When sizing the drinking water inlet, make sure that there is enough drinking water
available for re-feeding.
Before connecting the drinking water pipe, this must be rinsed.
NOTE:
To connect to the drinking water pipe, we recommend using a exible tank hose and
a ball valve (included), thus:
- vibration and noise transmissions are reduced;
- assembly tolerances can be compensated;
- the drinking water supply can be interrupted at any time without affecting the
overall installation - facilitates work on the Conel Flow Rain-Champion;
- the drinking water inlet can be blocked during long breaks in operation (e.B.
holidays);
Attention:
In the absence of more than 3 days, we recommend to close off the drinking
water inlet to the device.
Connect the drinking water connection „tank hose“ (included) to the Conel Flow Rain-Champion (see
Figure 8.3.1);
Do not twist or bend the drinking water connection (has direct connection to the oat switch) of the
Conel Flow Rain-Champion;
Make sure that the buoyancy body of the oat valve (inside the tank) can move freely;
Make sure that there is a pipe fastening clamp of the water installation in front of the tank hose (from
the point of view of the water entry);
8.4 CONNECTION OF THE SUCTION LINE
NOTE:
All activities may only be carried out by professional and knowledgeable person-
nel who have been sufciently informed by studying the operating instructions
in-depth;
This personnel must have read and understood this operating manual;
From the suction line, the Conel Flow Rain-Champion is supplied with the necessary rainwater, from the
Speicher.
PE-HD pipes have proven their worth in use as a suction line, but can also be used by other professio-
nal solutions(e.B. Suction hose - min. 0.8 bar vacuum suitable-, etc. ) are produced;
