The line pressure for the drinking water connection of the Conel Flow Rain-Champion must not
exceed 4 bar.
The Conel Flow Rain-Champion is designed for operation with rainwater and drinking water with a
maximum temperature of 40°C.
The suction height for the rainwater supply is a maximum of 8 meters.
The maximum  ow rate is 4.8m

/ h;
The maximum head is 42.5 m;
The pumped medium must be clean, free of solids or abrasive particles, not viscous, not aggressive,
not crystallized and chemically neutral, similar to the properties of water;
The Conel Flow Rain-Champion is designed for operation with an electrical supply voltage of 230V /
50Hz.
The Conel Flow Rain-Champion may be operated with a maximum of 20 evenly distributed starts and
stops per hour, with an on/ off time of 60 seconds;
To reduce pressure surges in the pipeline system and to reduce unnecessary start / stop of the Conel
Flow Rain-Champion, we generally recommend the use of a MAG (membrane expansion vessel) in
the pressure pipeline system relieves the entire pipeline system and increases the service life of all
components and parts of the entire installation;
The Conel Flow Rain-Champion is suitable for continuous operation (S1);
The Conel Flow Rain-Champion is only intended for wall mounting (on a level wall with suf cient
distance from the ceiling) - no  oor installation.
To connect the integrated emergency over ow device to the Conel Flow Rain-Champion, a proper
and professional drainage to the public sewer network / lifting system must be ensured.
1.4.2.1 Reasonably foreseeable misuse
The Conel Flow Rain-Champion is not suitable for the following applications:
for pumping liquids that are not compatible with the construction materials (e.g. toxic, explosive,
ammable or corrosive liquids);
for pumping polluted water or water polluted with sewage;
for applications with hazardous liquids (e.g. toxic, explosive,  ammable or corrosive liquids);
for applications with liquids that contain abrasive substances, solids or  bers - (use a pipe  lter if
necessary);
for operation outside the nominal values of the throughput speci ed in the data sheet;
for installation and operation outside of the nominal values described in these original operating
instructions.
1.4.2.2 Examples of improper installations
environments with explosive or corrosive conditions;
in installations in which no continuous water supply is guaranteed and the Conel Flow Rain-Cham-
pion runs the risk of running dry;
without protection from the weather (e.g. high temperatures, rain or frost);
installations in which there are leaks and loose pipe connections on the Conel Flow Rain-Champion
or in the entire pipe system;
operation outside the speci ed electrical mains voltage of 230V / 50Hz;
operation outside the admissible pre-pressure limits for drinking water make-up;
operation outside the pump curve of the centrifugal pump used.
ATTENTION:
On no account use the Conel Flow Rain-Champion to convey  ammable or
explosive liquids.
Improper use can lead to dangerous situations and cause personal injury and
property damage.
In addition, improper use of the product will invalidate the guarantee.
