3.1.2.3 CFD5000 FDS Subsystem
The CFD5000 FDS subsystem is an extension of CCP Fire that shall be used when
safety integrity level 2 is required. The CFD5000 FDS consists of three types of
modules, namely the CS-Safety M, CS-Loop M and CS-Com M.
The loop line consists of a selection of loop unit communicating with each other by
mean of the IDAxt protocol. The loop units that can be attached to the CS-Loop M
are suitable for use in SIL 2 environments as well.
