C.1.2: XEL, XPL, and XML Heatsink and Fan Configurations
No Heatsink
* Select a 4.25-inch square fan that supplies forced air at a minimum rate of 300 linear feet per minute.
C.1.3: XE2, XP2, XM2 and 800-1819 Models
Due to the fan and heatsink integrated into their design, the XE2/XP2/XM2/800-1819 models can
operate at full load conditions (both axes simultaneously) over the full specified operating range.
Care must be taken in mounting the drives to ensure that airflow is not impeded. The heatsink/fan
surface of the drive should be at least 1.5 in (38.1mm) from any other surface, including other drives,
for adequate cooling.
