11 | HOW TO SET UP THE “ROAD TO TRACK”
CONVERTER KIT ON A 4 SPOKE OR DISC WHEEL
PREPARED FOR ROAD / TRACK VERSION ?
CONVERTER SETTING
- remove the road axle (11)
- remove the cassette body (12)
- keep the stainless washer (3)
- leave the steel spacer (16) on the road axle
- remove any dirt with a dry rag
- check the bearings
- set the rear TRACK axle
(7) in the hub body (4)
- set the stainless washer (3) on the opposite side of the
sprocket. IMPORTANT ! rounded side on the bearings.
- screw the stainless toothed nut (10) on the same side
- set the spacer (6) on the axle
- set the converter (9) adjusting the 3 bolt pins (8) on the
holes of the wheel (5)
ATTENTION ! It is necessary to make the converter (9)
slide on t
he axle

any damage of the setting.
- end the setting by taping with a wooden hammer
ATTENTION ! Do not use metallic tool for setting the
converter (9). Do tap in the axle direction (7).

- screw and tighten the screw (17)
- set t
he wheel on the bike dropouts and tighten the rear
blocking screws for TRACK
(1) to set it up.
CONVERTER UNSETTING
- unscrew the rear blocking screw for TRACK (1)
- remove the standard screw (17)
- remove the stainless washer (3)
- tap on the 3 bolt pins (8) with a wooden hammer
using the bolt pin (Ø 6mm and length 60 mm) on the
opposite side of the sprocket to slowly remove the
converter
(9).
ATTENTION ! Do tap in the axle direction (7) ! It is
necessary to make the converter (9) slide on the axle
(7) set up in the hub’s body (4) to avoid any damage
of the setting.
