2 | HOW TO SET UP YOUR WHEEL ON THE FRAME ?
3 | HOW TO USE THE QUICK RELEASE SKEWERS ?
WARNING! Use only and always the original quick release skewer supplied with the wheel !
Activating the skewer lever (by turning it from the open position to the closed position) reduces the distance between the
lock’s nut and the lever cap. The pressure obtained allows maintaining the wheel blocked on the frame’s dropouts.
3-1 | ADJUSTING THE QUICK RELEASE SKEWER
• Turn the lever so that it is parallel with the wheel’s axle (picture n°3).
• Only hand tighten the nut (picture n°4).
• Push the lever to the closed position and make sure that the wheel is blocked (picture n°5).
• Install the wheel in the frame dropouts and make sure that it is correctly positioned.
• Check the wheel’s centering with respect to the frame and fork.
• Block the wheels with the quick release skewers (as indicated on pictures n°1 and n°2).
• Make sure that your front 4-SPOKE and/or 3 SPOKE wheel rotates in the right forward direction to take advantage of its.
aerodynamic design (leading edge and trailing edge). The spinning sense is indicated on the sticker set around the hub.
