• If you can easily close the lever, this means that the closing force is too low: push the lever into the open position, tighten
the nut 1/4 turn and then push the lever back into the closed position.
• Conversely, if you cannot fully close the lever (picture n°6 shows when the lever is correctly closed and picture n°7
shows when the lever is not correctly closed), this means that the closing force is too high : push the lever into the open
position, loosen the nut 1/8 turn and reclose the lever.
WARNING ! Remember that only 1/2 turn of the nut can make the difference between a correct closing and a too-
loose closing. A too-tight closing can damage or break the skewer.
• If necessary, repeat the adjustment.
• When you close the skewer lever, position it as shown on
pictures n°8 and n°9 so that it is easily accessible to open it.
• Train yourself to use the quick release skewer until you can easily obtain correct closings.
