4 | ADJUSTING THE SPOKE TENSION AND THE
CENTERING OF THE WHEELS
Your spokes’ tension is adjusted in the factory. However, depending on the kind of user you are, and how you ride your
wheel and take care of it, you may sometimes have to readjust spoke tension using the wrench supplied with the wheel
(not supplied with the AERO+ TUBELESS and WINIUM+ TUBELESS wheels).
WARNING! Don’t tighten the spokes too much to avoid damaging the rim or hub. Due to a high tension of the spokes
on the cassette side of the rear wheel, the tightening / unscrewing of the nipples is delicate. If you need to adjust the
trueing of the wheel, please adjust the spokes on the opposite cassette side of the wheel to avoid damaging the nipples.
Have a check performed each season in our workshops to ensure the best possible adjustment in terms of trueing, spoke
tension and wheel centering.
