FOR TUBULAR WHEELS, 650C (26’’) or 700C (28’’).
Don’t mount tubular tires with too narrow sections because they may cause damages to your rim. For comfort and perfor-
mance, we recommend the setting of 20 mm tubulars for time-trials and 21 mm tubulars for road racing, 650C (26’’) or
700C (28’’).
There is no maximum air pressure for tubular wheels except the one recommended by the manufacturer of the tubular tire you’re
going to set on your wheels.
FOR CLINCHER TIRE WHEELS, 700C (28’’).
To take advantage of the outstanding features of your CORIMA CLINCHER TIRE wheel as long as possible, please strictly
follow the directions of use:
The resin used to manufacture the rim and more particularly the part on which the tire is set on, resists to a temperature of
180°C. The pressure in the tire must not exceed 8 bars (120 psi).
You, as user, must pay attention to two phenomena, which can alter the rim’s geometry and more particularly its braking
surface:
- avoid pressures in the tire that are superior to the ones recommended;
- avoid extensive and prolonged brakings that would put the rim under temperatures that would be over the ones indica-
ted above.
The damages due to these two phenomena cannot be considered as manufacturing liabilities and cannot jus-
tify an exchange of the wheel under warranty.
For comfort and performance, we recommend the setting of 23 mm clincher tires, 700C (28’’).
F | CORIMA BRAKE PADS
You must use the specific CORIMA brake pads with all the line of CORIMA wheels.
The CORIMA composite brake pads have been specially developed for braking on composite rims and are the result
of tests carried out within the laboratory and by cyclists undergoing extreme braking conditions. Optimal results have
been obtained for the following essential requirements:
Braking efficiency: the CORIMA brake pads allow a safer ride due to the ability to have progressive and controlled
braking on wet and dry surfaces.
Temperature resistant: the CORIMA brake pads are heat resistant so reduce the risk of wheel seizure.
Wear resisting: due to the design and development CORIMA brake pads last longer.
Silence: Elimination of noise associated with braking. Nevertheless, the contact between new CORIMA brake pads
and a
new rim may cause some noise while braking. This noise will go away after a wearing period.
The CORIMA composite brake pads combine performance and using comfort.
The CORIMA brake pads are compatible with Shimano (Dura-Ace, Ultegra, 105), Campagnolo (Record, Centaure, Chorus)
brake shoes on models produced since 2000 and SRAM.
