Operation
• Relay for limit and alarm: deactivated.
• 4-20 mA output for pH and temperature: deactivated.
• Hold: Last value.
To modify the programming and adapt it to the particular application:
Note: During programming, the relays of the corresponding channel are deactivated. 4-20 mA
output (register) is in Hold (21 mA or last value).
1. Press ESC to access to the MAIN MENU.
2. Introduce the code 100 and accept with OK
3. Select SYSTEM. Press OK to confirm
4. Select PROGRAM CHANNEL and then the channel to configure.
5. Select and modify the following options:
4.5.3 Calibration
Note: If “Temperature” is selected as measuring units, the options related with calibration disappear.
To re-adjust the temperature, see
4.16 Temperature readjustment, °C or °F, page 54. If a
temperature re-adjustment is carried out, it can be seen as “Calibration data”, in the Data Logger,
see 4.15 Data Logger, page 53.
4.5.3.1 Calibration with pH buffers
To measure pH correctly, the electrode and the instrument set need to be calibrated
regularly with buffer solutions.
The instrument allows one-, two- and three- point calibration. The calibration parameters
remain in memory until a new calibration is performed. If there is any anomaly, the
instrument will show an error message.
Option Description
Units
pH + Temperature, mV + Temperature or Temperature. If the option “ºC” is
selected, on the display of the instrument only the measured temperature
appears and the channel is used as temperature regulator.
Temperature
Temperature sensors from other channels. The temperature compensation
can be carries out using the temperature value measured in any of the other
two channels.
Relay control
Selection of the type of control and the limits values.
NO: indicates that no control with relays will be used.
pH: Selectable values between pH 0.0 and pH 14.0
ORP: Selectable values between -2000 and +2000 mV.
Temperature: selectable values between -10 and 150 °C (14 and 302 °F).
See detailed information on 4.13, Page 49.
Alarm
Alarm.See detailed information on 4.12, Page 48.
Sensor alarm: when the units are “Temperature”, the sensor alarm for
“variation less than” occurs when the temperature probe is not connected.
4-20 mA output,
pH
4-20 mA output for pH. See detailed information on 4.14, Page 51.
4-20 mA output,
º C
4-20 mA output for Temperature. See detailed information on 4.14, Page 51.
Hold
Selection of the current output (register) when the channel is in situation of
cleaning, programming or calibration with standards.
