Operation
• Temperature: from the own channel.
• Relays for limits and alarm: deactivated.
• 4-20 mA output for DO and temperature: deactivated.
• Hold. Last value.
To modify the factory programming and adapt the instrument to the application:
Note: During programming, the relays of the corresponding channel are deactivated. 4-20 mA
output (register) is in Hold (21 mA or last value).
1. Press ESC to access to the MAIN MENU.
2. Introduce the code 100 and accept with OK
3. Select SYSTEM. Press OK to confirm
4. Select PROGRAM CHANNEL and then the channel to configure.
5. Select and modify the following options:
4.7.3 Calibration
Calibration in air, relative humidity at 100 %
The calibration is carried out in one point. Normally in air saturated with water vapor, with
100% of relative humidity. This can be achieved by introducing the sensor in a vessel with
some distilled water, maintaining the sensor few centimeters far from the water to avoid
wetting the membrane.
To carry out a calibration in air, the sensor must be clean and dry. The small droplets from
the membrane must be eliminated. The electrode should be re-calibrated when:
• The sensor, clean and dry, in air gives a reading different from 100% of saturation.
• After replacing the membrane or the electrolyte.
Option Description
Units %, ppm
Temperature
Temperature sensors from other channels. The temperature compensation
can be carries out using the temperature value measured in any of the other
two channels.
Pressure Atmospheric pressure: standard value 1013 mBar.
Salinity Salinity, 0.0 g/L NaCl.
Relay control
Selection of the type of control and the limits values.
NO: indicates that no control with relays will be used.

C
4-20 mA output for Temperature. See detailed information on 4.14, Page 51.
Hold
Selection of the current output (register) when the channel is in situation of
cleaning, programming or calibration with standards.
NOTICE
Before calibration for the first time, the electrode must be polarized at least 6 h.
