REPLACEMENT
1. Park the vehicle on level ground
and apply the parking brake rmly.
2. Stop the engine.
(1) Side Cover
3. Remove the side cover (LH).
(1) Battery Cover
(A) Positive (+) Cable
(B) Negative (-) Cable
4. Remove the battery cover and dis-
connect the negative battery ca-
ble.
5. Disconnect the positive battery ca-
ble.
6. Remove the battery mounting
bracket.
7. When connecting cables, connect
the positive cable first, and then
the negative cable.
The battery discharges natu-
rally if the vehicle is stored for
an extended period of time.
When storing the vehicle for
a long period of time, run the
engine for approx. 30 minutes
monthly to charge the battery.
Never leave the vehicle with
the engine running.
