enable igmp_snooping
Purpose Used to enable IGMP snooping on the Switch.
Syntax
enable igmp_snooping
{forward_mcrouter_only}
Description This command allows you to enable IGMP
snooping on the Switch. If
forward_mcrouter_only is specified, the
Switch will only forward all multicast traffic to the
multicast router, only. Otherwise, the Switch
forwards all multicast traffic to any IP router.
Parameters
Only administrator-level users can issue this
command.
forward_mcrouter_only − Specifies that the
Switch should only forward all multicast traffic to
a multicast-enabled router. Otherwise, the
Switch will forward all multicast traffic to any IP
router.
Restrictions
Example usage:
To enable IGMP snooping on the Switch:
DES-3326S:4#enable igmp_snooping
Command: enable igmp_snooping
Success.
