config traffic_segmentation
Purpose
config traffic_segmentation <portlist> forward_list [null|<portlist>]
Description
The config traffic_segmentation command is used to configure traffic
segmentation on the Switch.
<portlist> − Specifies a range of ports that will be configured for traffic
segmentation. The port list is specified by listing the beginning port
number and the highest port number of the range. The beginning and
end of the port list range are separated by a dash. For example, 3
specifies port 3. 4 specifies port 4. 3-4 specifies all of the ports between
port 3 and port 4 − in numerical order.
forward_list − Specifies a range of ports that will receive forwarded
frames from the ports specified in the portlist, above.
<portlist> − Specifies a range of ports for the forwarding list. This list
must be on the same Switch previously specified for traffic
segmentation (i.e. following the <portlist> specified above for config
traffic_segmentation).
Restrictions Only administrator-level users can issue this command.
Used to configure traffic segmentation on the Switch.
Syntax
Parameters
null − no ports are specified
To configure ports 1 through 10 to be able to forward frames to port 11 through 15:
DES-3326S:4# config traffic_segmentation 1-10 forward_list 11-15
Example usage:
Command: config traffic_segmentation 1-10 forward_list 11-15
Success.
