Verifying Network Parameters
DALSA provides the Network Configuration tool to verify and configure network devices and the Genie network
parameters. See section "
Network Configuration Tool" on page 79 if there were any problems with the automatic
Genie software installation.
VPN Driver Interference
VPN (virtual private network) software using a driver component called "Deterministic Network Enhancement" has
been identified as interfering with the Genie operation when using Framework versions previous to 1.20. At the
time to solution was to disable this VPN driver by deselecting the component from the NIC properties (see
following figure).
With Genie Framework version 1.20 or later, there is no need to disable this VPN component.
