3.2 Parameters: 0-** Operation and Display
Parameters related to the fundamental functions of the
frequency converter, function of the LCP keys and congu-
ration of the LCP display.
3.2.1 0-0* Basic Settings
0-01 Language
Option: Function:
Denes the language to be used in the
display.
The frequency converter can be delivered
with 2 dierent language packages.
English and German are included in both
packages. English cannot be erased or
manipulated.

0-02 Motor Speed Unit

NOTICE
This parameter cannot be adjusted while the
motor is running.
The information shown in the display depends on
settings in parameter 0-02 Motor Speed Unit and
parameter 0-03 Regional Settings. The default settings
of parameter 0-02 Motor Speed Unit and
parameter 0-03 Regional Settings depend on to which
region of the world the frequency converter is
supplied. It can be reprogrammed as required.
NOTICE
Changing the motor speed unit resets certain
parameters to their initial value. Select the
motor speed unit before modifying other
parameters.
[0] RPM Selects display of motor speed variables and
parameters (that is references, feedbacks, and limits)
in terms of motor speed (RPM).

Hz Selects display of motor speed variables and
parameters (that is references, feedbacks, and limits)
in terms of output frequency to the motor (Hz).
0-03 Regional Settings
Option: Function:
WARNING
This parameter cannot be adjusted while
the motor is running.
The display showing depends on the settings in
parameter 0-02 Motor Speed Unit and
parameter 0-03 Regional Settings. The default
settings of parameter 0-02 Motor Speed Unit and
parameter 0-03 Regional Settings depends on which
region of the world the frequency converter is
supplied to, but can be re-programmed as
required.
The settings not used are made invisible.

Sets parameter 1-20 Motor Power [kW] units to [kW]
and the default value of parameter 1-23 Motor
Frequency [50 Hz].
[1] North
America
Sets parameter 1-21 Motor Power [HP] units to [hp]
and the default value of parameter 1-23 Motor
Frequency to 60 Hz.
