32 Install the Printer
8. Press ENTER (h) to submit the code.
If Request Success displays on line 2 of the touch screen the printer is activated.
If another message displays on line 2 of the touch screen, system activation failed.
Repeat step 7. If activation fails again, contact Entrust Datacard Technical Phone Support
at 1-800-328-3996.
9. Press the U
SER button (i) repeatedly until Ready displays on line 1 and the USER button glows
steady green.
The printer is ready for additional setup and to print cards. Continue with “Set or Retrieve the
Printer IP Address” on page 33.
