42 Install the Printer
Print a Test Card
Print a test card to make sure that the printer is working properly.
1. Open Printer Manager and log in as a WebAdmin user.
2. Select TroubleShooting > Test Card.
3. For a simple single-side card, make the following selections:
For installation testing, use settings in the Card Front (Page 1) column (A).
Select Exception for the Input Hopper Number (B).
Select Color (C).
Select TestPattern1 (D).
4. At the printer:
a. Open the security enclosure door and make sure that a card weight is in each of the three
hoppers. Refer to “Load Cards” in the printer’s User’s Guide for instructions on installing
the card weights correctly.
b. Close the security enclosure door to lock the printer.
