Job Edit Mode (cont)
Seed Name This is the name used to create names
for the sample measured for this job.
The Seed Name can be up to 12
characters long. The default will be the
first 12 characters of the job name. See
“Sample Name” for details.
Seed Number The beginning number to be
appended to the seed name when
measuring samples for this job. This
will be incremented by one for each
sample saved for this job.
Sample Name Used to determine the method to be used
to name samples saved for this job.
AUTO will use the name “SAMPLE”,
plus the number of jobs stored;
SAMPLE1, SAMPLE2, etc.
SEED will use the seed name (see
above) with a number appended. The
starting number will be the seed number
(see above), which will be incremented
by one after each sample is saved.
For example, if the seed name is
WHITE, and the root number is 0001,
the first sample saved will be WHITE 1,
the second WHITE 2, etc.
UNIQUE requires that you enter the full
sample name whenever a sample is
saved.
