1.0 Introduction
This manual is intended for use by qualified service personnel in the maintenance and repair of
Datamax E-Class model printers. It primarily includes technical information relating to the printer’s
electrical and mechanical components. For related information, refer to the following documents,
available at http://www.datamax-oneil.com
For general user information, reference the Operator’s Manual (part number 88-2348-01).
For software documentation, reference the Class Series 2 Programmer’s Manual (part number 88-
2341-01).
