Removing the speakers

Prerequisites
1. Remove the base cover.
2. Remove the battery (half-length) or the battery (full-length), whichever applicable.
3. Follow the procedure from step 1 to step 3 in Removing the hard drive.
Procedure
1. Disconnect the speaker cable from the system board.
2. Note the speaker cable routing and remove the speaker cable from the routing guides on palm-rest assembly.
3. Lift the speakers, along with the cable, off the palm-rest assembly.
