Removing the power-button board

Prerequisites
1. Remove the base cover.
2. Remove the battery (half-length) or the battery (full-length), whichever applicable.
3. Follow the procedure from step 1 to step 3 in Removing the hard drive.
4. Remove the wireless card.
5. Follow the procedure from step 1 to step 5 in Removing the heat sink.
6. Remove the solid-state drive/Intel Optane.
7. Remove the system board.
Procedure
1. Peel the Mylar off the power-button board.
2. Remove the three screws (M2x3) that secure the power-button board to the palm-rest assembly.
3. Lift the power-button board off the palm-rest assembly.
