CAUTION: To avoid data loss, do not remove the solid-state drive while the computer is in sleep or on state.

Remove the right-side cover.
Procedure
1 Lay the computer on the left side and locate the solid-state drive slot on the system board.
2 Remove the screw (M2x3.5) that secures the solid-state drive to the system board.
3 Slide and lift the solid-state drive o the system board.
