Remove the right-side cover.
Procedure
1 Lay the computer on the left side and disconnect the fan cable from the system board.
2 Disconnect the processor-cooling assembly cable from the system board.
3 In the reverse sequential order (as indicated on the processor-cooling assembly), loosen the four captive screws that secure the
processor-cooling assembly to the system board.
4 Remove the screw (6-32UNCx3.6) that secures the fan to the chassis.
5 Lift and release the fan from the chassis.
6 Lift the processor-cooling assembly along with the fan o the system board.
