Next steps
1. If applicable, connect the cables to the expansion card.
2. Install the expansion card riser .
3. Install the air shroud.
4. Follow the procedure listed in After working inside your system.
5. Install any device drivers required for the card as described in the documentation for the card.
Removing R1 and R4 paddle cards
Prerequisites
1. Follow the safety guidelines listed in the Safety instructions.
2. Follow the procedure listed in the Before working inside your system.
3. Remove the air shroud.
4. Remove cooling fan cage assembly.
NOTE: Observe the cable routing before disconnecting the cables.
5. Remove the paddle card cable from side wall bracket.
6. Disconnect the power cable connected on the paddle card.
NOTE:
It is not recommended to disconnect paddle card slimline cables from the GPU riser modules, only disconnect from
the system board.
Steps
Press the blue release tab on the paddle card and holding the edges lift the paddle card from the riser connector on the system
board.
