Next steps
1. Insert the paddle card slimline cable into the cable access latch on cooling fan cage and also through the air shroud notch.
2. If removed, install the rear mounting front PERC module.
3. Follow the procedure listed in After working inside your system.
Replacing the GPU bracket
Prerequisites
1. Follow the safety guidelines listed in the Safety instructions.
2. Follow the procedure listed in Before working inside your system.
3. If installing a new GPU card, unpack it and prepare the card for installation.
NOTE: For instructions, see the documentation accompanying the card.
4. New GPU cards are shipped with standard bracket, replace it with a custom bracket before installing.
NOTE: Based on the GPU card, use the appropriate custom bracket.
Steps
1. Using Torx #T15 screwdriver loosen the torx screws and remove the standard bracket from the GPU card.
