Generate New Curve

Choosing this option will pop-up a dialog window used to enter the
concentration values for the standards.
•
The standard concentrations for preconfigured Qubit® assays are hardcoded
into the software. The standard concentrations for all other assays are
determined by the user at the time of the assay.
•
Although trend line analysis options and concentration units used to generate
the standard curve are preset for preconfigured assays, they may be changed
using the advanced options button.
• Blank: If selected, the first row in the standards table is used to measure a
Blank.The average RFU value of the blank measurements will be
subtracted from all standard and sample measurements. If the Blank is not
selected, the initial concentration for preconfigured assays will be set to
0.00. This standard is typically the reagent/fluorophore solution without any
nucleic acid or protein.
• Trend Line: If selected, the trend line will be forced through the lowest
standard concentration. When a Blank is used, the trend line will be forced
through the graph origin (0,0).
Use Previous Curve or Std Values
•
Choosing this option will pop-up a dialog window with a radio button selector
for saved standard curves and saved standard curve concentration lists.
•
All modifications to a curve or list are effective immediately. It is important to
save the selection with a new name prior to making any changes if you do not
want to modify the original curve or standards list. Changes to a curve do not
affect previously measured samples.
•
Although all saved lists and saved curves are available for use by all accounts,
only the account holder may modify the selection.
