8.2.3 Events
A radio event happens during default read when an interesting action concerning tags has
occurred.
Before starting a default read, you must select radio events you need in
drop down menu of toolbar.
Each radio event is reported in its own panel during default read. See section 0
for more information.
There are several types of radio events that may occur during default read:
“Tag Read” event occurs each time a tag frame is detected in radio field.
“New Tag” event occurs the first time a tag is detected in radio field.
“Tag In” and “Tag Out” events come in pair ( ) and occur respectively when
a tag enters or leaves the radio field.
“No Read” event occurs if no tag has been read when reading stops (applicable
only if input triggered reading is enabled; see section 8.2.4 for more information).
“Scan once completed” event occurs if “Scan Once” read mode is activated and when
the current scan is over.
You can configure the radio events settings on “Events” tab of “ Read Configuration”
panel.
If you enable “Tag In” or “Tag Out” event but not the other, both events will be
temporarily enabled during asynchronous reading.
