20 – REPLACING ELECTRODES
1. REPLACING ELECTRODES
Buy original spare parts from the manufacturer and authorized seller.
To replace an electrode, perform the following sequence:
1.1. Disconnect the power supply from the mains.
1.2. Open the front of the analyzer and electrode cover to access the electrodes,
remove the stop screw from the right, and open the electrode cover.
1.3. Remove the electrode lock by loosening the screw on its back.
1.4. Unplug the connector from the electrode to be replaced.
1.5. Loosen the terminal(s) of all the electrodes to the right of the one to be changed,
move them all a little to the right, the electrodes are joined with silicone couplings
that join them under pressure.
1.6. Remove the defective electrode.
1.7. Place the new electrode with the couplings and attach them to those that
correspond.
1.8. Replace the electrode lock.
1.9. Plug the electrode connectors back to the corresponding terminals.
1.10. Replace the electrode cover and close the front of the analyzer.
1.11. Connect the power supply, turn on the analyzer and verify that calibrates correctly.
