6. INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT OF THE DIESTRO SAMPLING CLEANER

Cleaner
Wear gloves in all cases.
The service life of the Sampling Cleaner is 800 samples for an estimated consumption of 100
samples per day or 3 months duration for a consumption of 10 samples per day.
JS Medicina Electrónica recommends the simultaneous replacement of the
Sampling Cleaner with the DIESTRO® Pack.
Note that if a wash is carried out without the Sample Taking Cleaner the
analyzer will drip on the area below the sample collection
Note that if whole blood is passed then the time in which the washing of the
sample is effective may be decreased by the detachment of clots or fibrins in
the cleansing dressing.
6.1 With the analyzer turned off, open the front.
6.2 Carefully lift the capillary sample until it takes a horizontal position, remove the used
Sample Cleaner and discard it in accordance with current regulations related to
potentially infectious biological waste.
6.3 Clean the needle with a disposable cloth or towel moistened with Diestro ISE
Cleaning solution.
