ADVANCED MAINTENANCE 6.7 QUICK-STRIP PLUG DISASSEMBLY
IT MAY OCCASIONALLY BECOME NECESSARY to disassemble the Luxe® Power Core’s quick strip plug. First,
remove and disassemble the Power Core, following the instructions in MAINTENANCE 5.1.
Use a 3/32-inch allen wrench to remove the quick-strip latch screw [FIG. 1] from underneath the rear of the
quick-strip plug, then lift the latch away [FIG. 2]
The latch return o-ring does not act as a seal. Instead, it performs the function of a spring, returning the
quick-strip latch to its closed position. Stretch and remove the o-ring [FIG. 3]
