4.6.3 - Type SR B Hydraulic diaphragm dosing pumps
SR B pumps are spring return pumps with a single hydraulic diaphragm pump head.
A hydraulic diaphragm pump head is mounted to the SR mechanism.
There is hydraulic oil between the PTFE hydraulic diaphragm and the piston.
In the pressing phase the piston moves the oil pushing the diaphragm forward, in the suction phase the
spring allows the return of the piston with the oil allowing the movement of the diaphragm.
The flow is always given by the directional valves on the suction and discharge side of the pump head.
The piston is sealed by lip seals.
For possible leakage of liquids from the lantern at the bottom, the protection is equipped with a hose
connection for the disposal of liquids.
Peculiarity of hydraulic diaphragm pumps is to reduce the danger of leakage of fluid dosed by the pump
head, since there are no hydraulic seals in contact.
The PTFE hydraulic diaphragm ensures suitability with most liquids in combination with the different metal
or plastic pump heads that can be supplied.
4.6.4 - Type SR BR Hydraulic diaphragm dosing pumps
SR BR pumps are spring return pumps with single hydraulic diaphragm pump head and recirculation
valve.
A hydraulic diaphragm pump head is mounted to the SR mechanism.

spring allows the return of the piston with the oil allowing the movement of the diaphragm.

In these pumps, unlike the B series pumps, the diaphragm rests on a shield.
Characteristic of this series of pumps is to have the recirculation valve in the hydraulic system, it protects
the pump head from any overpressure on the system by opening at a set pressure and discharging the oil
into the recirculation vessel and then reintegrating it with the reset valve when the pressure returns to
system operating pressure values.
The calibration pressure is less than or equal to the maximum pump pressure.
