❑ Check the filter.
❑ The pipe diameter must be greater than (or at least equal to) the pump connection and the pipe
path must be the shortest possible and have wide radius curves.
❑ The pump must be installed max 1 m over head, under head is the recommended position.
16.3 - Recirculation tank type VR 40 calibration
1 Make sure that the drain plug located below is tight.
2 Loosen the ring nut (pos 105) adjusting the RECIRCULATION VALVE spring (pos 122).
3 Loosen the nut (pos 112) adjusting the RESET VALVE spring (pos 104).
4 Start the pump
5 Pour oil in the tank until it reaches the mark and press the RESET VALVE (pos 104); the oil will
start flowing into the oil reservoir.
6 Repeat the operation until it is possible to see oil oscillating inside the tank. At this point, the oil
reservoir is full.
7 Slowly tighten the LOAD NUT (pos 112) of the reset spring until the oil in the tank is still. This
operation must be performed in the actual operating conditions
8 Pressurise the system by closing valve "1" and opening valve "2"; the oil in the tank will oscillate.
9 Slowly tighten the ring nut (pos 105) of the recirculation spring until the oil goes back to being still
and pressure gauge "3" indicates the system pressure.
