Inspiratory-time
control
Ti; I:E Determines whether the ventilation set-
tings are based on Ti or on the I:E ratio.
Ti changes with
RR in CMV
On; Off Determines whether the change of RR
automatically causes a change of Ti. In
this way, the I:E ratio remains constant.
Applies to the following ventilation
modes:
–PC - CMV
–VC - CMV
– VC - CMV / AutoFlow
Prerequisite: Inspiratory-time control is
set to Ti.
