Overview
10 Anesthetic gas receiving sys-
tem
Used for scavenging excess anesthetic gas
and breathing gas, to reduce the anesthetic
gas concentration released into the environ-
ment by the anesthesia machine, and to
scavenge the sample gases from an exter-
nal anesthetic gas monitor.
11 Water trap with connection for
sample line
1)
Collects condensed water which forms in
the sample line. Protects the patient monitor
and the patient-gas measurement module
against water, bacteria and viruses.
12 Patient-gas measurement
module
1)
Measures and monitors various gas con-
centrations in the breathing gas (O
2, CO2,
N
2O, and anesthetic gases).
13 Guide clip Used to securely lay the O
2 insufflation
hose.
