Indication of availability
The available equipment for the main devices is shown in the tables below and is
identified as follows:
3.2.6 Monitoring functions
The device can monitor the following:
– Airway pressure
– Minute volume, tidal volume
– Inspiratory O
2 concentration
– Expiratory O
2 concentration (only available with the integrated patient-gas
measurement module)
– Inspiratory and expiratory anesthetic gas concentrations (only available with the
integrated patient-gas measurement module)
– Inspiratory and expiratory CO
2 concentrations (only available with the integrated
patient-gas measurement module)
– Inspiratory and expiratory N
2O concentrations (only available with the integrated
patient-gas measurement module)
– Respiratory rate, apnea (derived from pressure, flow, and CO
2)
– Occurrence of anesthetic gas mixtures (only available with the integrated
patient-gas measurement module)
– Lack of fresh gas in the breathing system and the breathing circuit
