Operation
7.5 Performing a measurement
Do not block the gas inlet at the chip outlet
end of the analyzer.
 Move sliding switch to position 3.
The integrated pump is switched on and
the sample gas is drawn through the
measurement channel of the chip.
The chip parameters (chip type and
measuring range) and the message
measuring are displayed alternately.
The maximum measuring time is indicated in
brackets (> <). The passage of time is
indicated by the bars.
The actual measuring time depends on the
chip and on the concentration of hazardous
gas in the air.
A higher concentration yields a shorter
measuring time.
Example for the ammonia chip (6406020):
approx. 1 minute measuring time
at 25 ppm NH3
approx. 3 minutes measuring time
at 5 ppm NH3
Note the Instructions for Use of the selected
chip.
The measured value is displayed.
