6 Preparing for use
6.1 Installing/replacing
batteries
Only use batteries of the following types:
For analyzer (Part No. 6405300):
1. Move sliding switch to position 0 to switch
analyzer off.
2. Untighten hex screw from the chip inlet
side with the Allen key supplied and open
the cover.
3. Remove used batteries.
4. Fit new batteries, noting the specified
polarity.
5. Refit cover and secure with hex screw.
6. Dispose of used batteries, page 61.

Batteries must not be fitted or
changed in hazadous or explosive
areas!
