32 Instructions for use Polaris 600
Checking the Polaris 600 remote control for the
MedView camera
Press any key on the remote control.
Status LED lights up green: the remote control
is functioning.
Status LED flashes green: the battery charge is
low. The remote control can only be used for a
short time. To maintain the functioning of the
remote control, the battery must be replaced
immediately, see "Replacing the battery in the
Polaris 600 remote control for MedView
camera" on page 65.
Status LED does not light: the battery is
completely discharged or defective. To re-
establish the functioning of the remote control,
the battery must be replaced immediately, see
"Replacing the battery in the Polaris 600
remote control for MedView camera" on page
65.
Preparing the light system
Fitting the sterilizable handle E
Immediately before an operation, fit the handle
under sterile conditions as follows:
1 Fit the handle (A) on the inner handle so that
the markers (B) line up.
NOTE
Sterilizable handles are supplied by Dräger in a
non-sterile state.
WARNING
Risk of personal injury and property damage
The handle can fall down into the operating
field if it is not fitted properly.
The handle may only be fitted by users.
