1.2.8 Formatting the Drives of Drobo 8D
After installing Drobo Dashboard, inserting the drives into the Drobo 8D and connecting cables, you
are ready to turn on the Drobo device and format the drives.
Note:
If you have migrated the entire disk pack from another Drobo device to this one, you do
not need to format the drives as they have already been formatted. For additional
information, see Migrating a Disk Pack from Another Drobo Device.
