and the distance icon turn grey.
If the system operating conditions are verified,
speed control can be reactivated by pressing RES/+
(D, Fig 119) or SET/- (E, Fig 119). If RES/+ (D, Fig 119)

Do not reactivate the control with the
previously stored cruising speed if the current road,
 and weather conditions do not allow it. Failure
to comply will increase the risk of accidents.
Override
It is possible to accelerate manually while using the
Adaptive Cruise Control system: at this stage, the
Adaptive Cruise Control temporarily stops
controlling the speed of the motorcycle. If this
manoeuvre is carried out while remaining below 180
km/h (112 mph), once the  is released, the
Adaptive Cruise Control will resume speed control on
its own.

During override, Adaptive Cruise Control check
of the distance from the vehicle ahead of the
motorcycle is temporarily deactivated in favour of
manual  control by the rider.
The rider is always responsible for compliance with
the speed limits and, more generally, the road 
regulations in force in the country in which s/he is
riding, as well as for the way the motorcycle is ridden.
