8.1 P1x General parameters
Parameter
P1x
Designation Description Setting / Examples
P17 Parameter record:
Record ID
This parameter indicates the
record ID dened in the parameter
record stick. This allows to distin-
guish several parameter record
versions of a customer.
0 means "No parameter record
found" or "Startup (state 2) not yet
carried out".
The behaviour is the same as de-
scribed in P16.
P18 Operating mode
PWM outputs
Using this parameter, the behav-
iour of the outputs PWM2 and
PWM3 can be changed in order to,
for ex., activate analogue outputs
correctly.
The external function activated by
PWM2 and PWM3 are dened by
the plugged-in extension module
which allows to activate each of
the two outputs by a digital signal
(PWM for fan, frequency converter,
...) or by an analogue signal with
0...10 V or 4...20 mA.
The correct setting for P18 is indicated in the following table
Setting P18 Conguration PWM2 as: Conguration PWM3 as:
0 OFF OFF
1 OFF PWM signal
2 OFF Analogue 0...10 V
3 OFF Analogue 4...20 mA
4 PWM signal OFF
5 PWM signal PWM signal
6 PWM signal Analogue 0...10 V
7 PWM signal Analogue 4...20 mA
8 Analogue 0...10 V OFF
9 Analogue 0...10 V PWM signal
10 Analogue 0...10 V Analogue 0....10 V
11 Analogue 0...10 V Analogue 4....20 mA
12 Analogue 4...20 mA OFF
13 Analogue 4...20 mA PWM signal
14 Analogue 4...20 mA Analogue 0...10 V
15 Analogue 4...20 mA Analogue 4...20 mA
P18 Example: The extension mod-
ule MPA-EM1/3 is equipped with a
conversion from PWM2 to 0...10 V
and with a conversion from PWM3 to
4...20 mA. The correct setting results
from:
P18 = 11 ( for MPA-EM1/3)
P18 Note
If the conguration "4...20 mA" is
selected for a voltage output, this
corresponds to a voltage output of
2...10 V.
If the conguration "0...10 V" is
selected for a current output, this
corresponds to a current output of
0...20 mA.
