3-3. Adjusting the position of the paper guide roller
Adjust the position of the paper guide roller so that the lead edge of the ejected booklet is slightly beyond
the center of the paper guide roller as follows. When the belt stacker is connected to the DBM-150T, adjust
the paper guide roller in the same way.

Loosen the set screw.

Adjust the position of the roller so that
the distance from the lead edge of the
booklet ejected to the center of the
roller is about 30 mm/1.18 inches.

Tighten the set screw to fix the roller.
4. Preparing Upstream Unit
Make the upstream unit ready for binding operations by making necessary setting on its control panel. For
details, refer to the instruction manual supplied with the upstream unit.
5. Adjusting Each Section (Step Mode)
Before starting a binding operation, adjust each section in the step mode. The adjusted value in the step
mode is saved in the memory you are currently using.
• When [Trimming On] has been selected, you can specify whether to trim paper in the step mode.

• The booklet made in the step mode is not counted as the number of sets processed.
