3-2. Adjusting the folding roller gap
Adjust the folding roller gap according to the thickness of a booklet. If the gap is not appropriate, stripping
of the cover or a paper jam may occur.

While pulling the roller gap adjustment
toward the inside of the machine,
move the adjustment according to the
thickness of the booklet.

The lever position No. is just an indicator for
booklet thickness.
* Set to “7” for side and corner stapling
regardless of the booklet thickness.
Be sure to move the folding roller gap to
the same position on the operator's side
and non-operator's side. Setting the roller
gap adjustments to different positions may
cause poor booklet quality or machine
failures.

Push the roller gap adjustment against
the frame and check that the pin is
inserted to the hole.
