Chapter 3 Advanced Operation
Attaching the joint bracket to the side guide
According to the paper size used and the type of binding, assemble the side guide unit.

Align the notches (2) of the joint bracket
B with the shafts of the knob screws.
Align each notch with the shaft in the order
shown in the gure.

Tighten the knob screws (2) of the side
guide B.
When the konb screws are not tightened
enough, paper jam, paper misalignment or
folding misalignment may occur. You may
also hear abnormal by vibration.

Assemble the side guide F and the joint
bracket F in the same way.
The subsequent procedures vary according to
the paper size.
